Gee, well, in Australia someone decided summer would start in october instead of december.
Goodness knows when it'll end.

Warmest winter I can remember here. No snow. Something is definitely amiss.
And if you read a little more, you'll see that this global warming is mainly produced by men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That"s a main huge difference!!!!!!!!Superslim wrote:
Agreed, It just a natural cycle that the planet goes thru. Just read the scientific Literature (real science, not the crap the Gore is trying to sell). Every real scientist will tell you that. Hot and cold cycles, spanning, hundred, thousands and even millions of years are recorded in the geological history of this planet.Vilham wrote:
"Theres no such thing as global warming" - Im still waiting for that comment from someone.

I'm bringing my bike skiing in case there's no snow. Win win situation really.
LOL at the 'town' comment. Best goddamned city in the whole of the United States.blademaster wrote:

If I had to do my laundry in the garage (this includes folding it) I would probably not use my garage for parking my car. Have you ever considered converting a closet in your house to a laundry room? They do have over/under washer dryers.
Are you sure those are new leaves? I swear there's at least one tree in the centre of my city that hasn't lost its leaves yet and, before anyone asks, no it ain't coniferous.ELITE-UK wrote:

This "winter" has been very mild so far. I;ve only noticed a frost three times as yet. So less old people will be falling over and killing themselves and the pensions crisis is only going to get worse.
Up here in the North East its the same, it hasn't even been cold yet, it always feels quite mild.
And like you say, it hasn't even been close to snowing, which it usually has done by now. Its very disconcerting when you think about it.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
This is not the hottest I have ever seen it in Jan. where I live. I remember some years where it was 70 F in Jan, and I was outside in shorts playing basketball. There have been winters that were worse then what we have already, but for the most part it is still early in Winter, less then a month in. We usally do not get the snow and stuff until mid to late Feb or early March.
