hi guys, i was thinking of getting limewire, is it worth it... i am not sure though, i dont want any viruses or trouble with it, i just want to go on, download the songs or stuff i want and then come off it again...

do you reccomend it, and have you had any problems with it? if so state them please...

Naah Limewire is good for certain things. If you want to find few songs it can be a pain in the ass to find it on torrents if its not widely popular and new (try looking for old jazz). Also often, using torrents, you have to download a whole album or discography when you only want one particular song (often files are packed in one .rar file so you cant choose which files to download). But dont ever download software with limewire. For that always use torrents from trusted sites with COMMENTS.

P2P is NOTHING compared to what it used to be, it's flooded with spy/malware/virus' etc. Not to mention the RIAA has their hands so deep in that shit I don't even bother with it. Too many crappy dl's fucked up mp3's etc.

As with everything to do with illegal downloads, theres a risk.

But pretty much, be safe and use common sense when downloading.... If say your downloading a 5 minute song, chances are its not going to be 120 kbs and a .exe.....

I use it for single songs ect, anything bigger (games, whole albums) i use torrents which, imo, is safer.
