how often do you guys:

A - defrag ur hard drive

and

B - run disk cleanup


i dont really know when/how often you should do it (wana keep this hard drive in good form after i had to format)

A - once a month - use Diskeeper you can set it to do it monthly, weekly, each night, whenever your screensaver is active, etc etc.
B - never - disk cleanup is a joke.

I defrag about once a month or after I realize I have installed a lot of things.

I defrag once a week.  I am currently trying PerfectDisk.  I have heard you get better performance out of a defrag util that can defrag before system boot to move your pagefile, etc.
Edit:  I use Disk Cleanup occasionally.  It makes it a little easier to shred the shit that needs to be shredded (some of it at least).

every 2 weeks.... both.. clean up first and then defrag.
