Sexual repression is a bad thing for sure, but I doubt it's the root of all evil. That would be generalizing. It's the same as saying that religion is the root of all evil.
But some of the bad things that happen in the world could come from sexual repression. For instance, and now we are linking sexual repression with religion, why don't they let Catholic priests to get marry or to have sex with women? If they'd do, there would be less child abuse cases in church.
