So yesterday I was at K-Mart. I hate K-Mart, but I had to pick up a prescription, so there I was. Whilst looking around I found a great freakin' deal on this mouse pad: Allsop Charcoal Metal Art.

They had 'em on clearance for $1.50! I got 2 of the bastards and in the words of Tony the Tiger, they're great!

So, who else uses a fancy-schmancy mouse pad?

I use my new Steelpad 5Layer, cost me about $40 but is sweet as hell!

My mouse pad was about... puh I can't really tell.
Also, the surface isn't that smooth and as the pads on my poor old MX510 are starting to vanish, I must say mouse control rather sucks.
However, there's one thing I like about my mouse pad. It's about 2.9m long and 1.6m broad and it even holds space for my keyboard and screen!

Yeah, it's my desk (but you must admit, a huge one ) without fancy colours...

same here. i also only use my desk. mousepads are too much of a hassle for me

I think when you get all fancy like that they're called a "gaming surface" as opposed to a "mousepad" . Here's mine, it came with my Alienware & has a secksy Alienware logo on it. One side is smooth & one is a bit rougher (reversible)

Found it from some store, you could try googling "USB Hub Mouse Pad", maybe you'll find a place to buy it from

For which mouse? I was just looking through a site the other day that had replacement/custom feet for every kind of mouse imaginable, just gotta find it again

I use a WowPad (microthin.com). it was $10 at office depot. it's about 12"x12" and i won't game without it. kinda plain in appearance though. it provides a very smooth surface for mousing ie) mouse doesn't get stuck on pad like the fabric/neoprene ones. it has a grid on it and i think it tracks well with my MX1000 optical wireless mouse.

i'm envious of some of the screenies you guys posted of those fancier pads. wow!
