I believe there have been more teamkills than kills on that titan, while there were maybe 3 guys on the enemy titan and one commander trying to take silos (me).
Ironically there wasn't much to defend after the first wave. 4or 5 guys would have been enough to defend, but no, EVERY F****** IDIOT... well, just aahhrrgg.
And then there was that guy who was doing nothing but throwing grenades into the hangar bay, refusing all orders to attack a silo, finishing the round with something like 3 points and seriously asking why we lost.
Are there really people who can sit in front of a computer for 15 minutes, just clicking the same button over and over again? Well, everything else might be too complicated...

just because YOU found the "perfect server" to play titan and have fun doesn't make it a good mode. most of the time the game play is fundamentally flawed during titan and people have this misconception that titan mode equals points. if you need titan to get points then you seriously need to improve your gameplay and you're never going to do that playing titan. play a conquest city map to get good at infantry combat and play a vehicle conquest map to learn the vehicles. titan mode at the moment is structurally flawed and until EA/DICE fixes it, fuck titan.
Okay!
Just to inform you people!

@ Most of the others talking about titan and Mike had a crap game, I highly recommend a "24/7 Camp Gibraltar".
Alpha found a server which was 24/7 but also with no FF - This makes it easier to kill and really if you want your explosive kills go there - It's so funny seeing someone run into a group of enemies laying down 2 RDX then blowing it up blasting himself onto a roof and killing most of the guys
As for Titan - In the past i found it brilliant, it was real fun even WITH the exploits and glitches.. But now it just lags like hell and everytime it changes map in Titan mode i crash!! I'm going to get my Expert Titan Destruction and then stick with the EU server most of the time..
Just it's a bit annoying when nobody else is online..
This is hilarious Gemi, why can`t you just accept that some people enjoy another type of gameplay than you ?superfly_cox wrote:

I respect your view`s and why you hate it but i feel like you are calling everybody that does like the new mode even with flaws a complete nOOb and that we are idiots, what`s the difference on gameplay before you enter the titan ?
*Is driving a tank different in titan mode ?
*Is capping a silo different from capping a flag ?
*Is infantry battles on the ground much different ?
And why do you hide behind the socalled fact that you get more points in titan mode cause you dont, in conquest i could get more points than i usually would get on an equal size titan map and i would have had a higher kpm, spm and a better k/d ratio if i played conquest only !!!
The beauty of titan mode is that the outcome of the battle isn`t over just because you can board the titan, the battle on the ground is still crucial to gain control of the silos !
Maybe EA/Dice will change the mode, maybe not but until then many people will play it me included and as stated above not only for points but because the gameplay is more diverse than just to cap a flag !
Edit: And i didn`t only find 1 titan server that was good, i have found many and i believe i have only scratched the surface

(and now she will let you do anything she wants )
And about the Titan-mode; It's more or less the same as any other map in conquest. There are people who go for the points and people who go for the win. Like in Berlin, Cebre and Gibraltar; you can take a jeep and go to the back. But there aren't a lot of enemy's to kill so some stick with the first flag.
In titan it's the same idea.. You can kill and be killed a lot inside the Titan or cap and hold the silo's.
Points or win, that's the question. Maybe EA should give a 50pt bonus after winning a round (except for the commander of course).

For me it really wasn't a disaster.
It went pretty good actually.

Titan mode might not give you more points than Conquest mode. But it does give you more teamwork points than conquest mode which I find really annoying.
Titan mode is the best mode for getting certain badges, i.e. Medic badge, because you are all in a confined space on the titan so you can heal people. It is a bottleneck for both teams, as you know that your team and the enemy (if bording the titans) are going to have to cross your path at some point. You also get more teampoints when killing people on your titan or the enemy because of the titan attack and defend points (think they correspond to teamwork points. If i am wrong then correct me), so you have a better chance of getting teamwork ribbons and badges.
I feel that conquest mode has been overlooked when it comes to teamwork points. It seems as though all your work on a conquest map is greatly overlooked now when it comes to teamwork. Sure you get squad leader/member/commander bonus points for following orders, but where are all the teamwork points? I would have liked it if you could gain more points for following orders rather than only getting them for heals/repairs/resupply.

Go Gilli You´re the sex machine of BF2s
One thing is for certain when it comes to Titan mode, if you are medic you are King - most players boarding the titan are either Recon or Support so running around as medic is "good business" and most appriciated by your team-mates, and that`s even though i got both my medic excellence badge playing conquest !theDude5B wrote:

Some real life chatting from my weekend.
My band State of the Art www.myspace.com/sotafromhell celebrated it´s 1 1/2 year aniversary on saturday. We´re endorsed by a huge local music store, and a insurrance company, so we´ve rent a city hall, invited two well known bands and have done tons for organisation stuff since november.
Since friday evening 18:00 CET me, my gf, parents, bandmembers and some buddies were working in the city hall doing all the necessary stuff. Building the stage, and changing the city hall to a good venue for a metal concert. It was hell of work but our buddies, girls, parents etc helped as much as possible. I´ve entered my bed (with gf ) around 04:00 CET, tired as hell. Saturday morning 10:00 CET was meeting time with the other bands, the sound- and lightcrew, the sponsors, some local press etc etc. and still damn much work to do.
The sound- and lightcrew had four 7,5t trucks with equipment and arrived a 14:30... Shedule said soundcheck 18:00, entrance 20:00... Damn, that was a hard piece of work to do, lot of things to solve etc.
I´ve made soundcheck at 19:51. The sound was just amazing. 17.000 watts ftw(!!!)... Tired I left the city hall, to eat something, take a shower, pick up gf and so on. When I left, there were already some young people waiting for open doors and begged me for signs, yaaaaaay
When I came back at around 20:40, and I must admit I had a strange feeling about the whole day, I was just like wow. Already 250 people paid for entrance. The first band started around 21:15, and those guys had a blast. The second band begun around 22:30 and we´ve already counted 550 people there. Wow, damn.
We´ve entered the stage at around 23:30 and it was the most exiting expirience I ever had. 800 people standing in front of you, jumping, rocking, moshing around, singing along your songs is better then sex, yes, way better! We´ve played our set till 01:30, left stage to chill, but the crowd was just so wicked they´ve begged for more. Two times. At 02:12 I switched my amplifier off, put my guitar in it´s case, dropped my shirt and pants, opened up my beer (No. 14), smoked my 31th cigarett had some good laughs with friends and left the hall at 07:30...
All in all, we´ve counted 823 people, sold 148 tshirt, 20 longsleves, 200 CDs, 200 crates of beer, 66(!!!) bottles of JD, 30 bottles Jägermeister and had a income of 4.000 € for the band!
Hell yeah, beeing a rockstar is awesome

And about titan, well, at least there is no possibility to gel like -9 points because an idiot crashes his full car with full speed directly into your tank...
Titan is one of the best inventions ever, if and only if you have a team with a very small idiot percentage and the team does what a good commander wants them to do. It's more than just taking flags, it includes much more strategy and the decision what the priorities should be in a given situation. Compared to conquest kills mean less in titan mode, its a tactical game.
The best number of players on a titan server: 24-32, it means less problems with lags (although I hardly have problems) and less spamming.
Agreed, 24-32 people on titan does seem best, anything more than that and it starts to get laggy and you can't move for APMs, RDX and 'nades.
Got a Titan tip from Dude: When lagging press Left ALT and you toggle away some info on screen, have tried it but not sure if it helped any - doesn`t have much lag usually unless playing 48+ maps ....
Wait behind the line ..............................................................
I dont get it, I dont have any issues playing titan mode at all since 1.05 even on my weakest rig....
When there's that much explosives around on the enemy's titan, it's a good time to hit the silos. If each team retains at least one console intact, whoever has the most silos for most of the round will win.DoctorFruitloop wrote:

IMO this is better than conquest because on there, it doesn't matter who has flags and how many. Even if you get the enemy's main base capped, blow their assets and hem them in to one spawn, they can still win.
This happened on Fall of Berlin this weekend. We got through their defenses, capped their main base, took their walker but we'd lost a quarter of our tickets doing it. Never made back the difference even though we had all bar one flag.
So in summary, titan = tactical while conquest = campfest.
