i bought a sennheisser pc160sk the sound is fine but i can't get the mic to work. i've tried the voip program in the battlefield 2 directory & the program in the windows/accessories section.
as a result i've reinstalled my onboard sound drivers & checked to make sure all the usual suspects in the software setup are not muted, including the inline switch in the cable of the headset.
apart from trying the headset on another pc, i can only think the mic element is broken.
