My dad said he would take me shooting at a range, but I just have to find a range that only requires money, no membership, they must rent guns and ammo. And I live in New York City, so I don't even know where to begin looking. I know of one range in Staten Island (one of the boroughs in NYC), but you have to be a member and they don't rent guns. Anyone know a place in the greater NYC area?

From what I father, the OP doesn't own a gun. Hunting also requires a permit/tags in most states and from the sound of it, they don't go shooting much.A-Unit64 wrote:

I really doubt killing/gutting/cleaning/packing/storing/eating an animal is on their agenda, when they could do something so much simpler, like go to a range, rent a gun, and plink at a peice of paper for a few hours instead of committing to the endeavor I mentioned previously.

On topic: Superior Mind you may also want to check for gun shops or dealers. Some of these places have small indoor ranges and allow people to rent a wide variety of firearms including full-auto MG's

@ SM, dude, just join in the membership, most of the time it's free ur first time and then u never have to go back. Don't expect to just go and shoot shit at a range/club. You can do that in the backwoods/wilderness/brackwater avenues, but not in NYC lol.
