A minority or subordinate group is a sociological group that does not constitute a politically dominant plurality of the total population of a given society. I'd say a black man (you had black person) will likely win, before a woman. I'd vote for Dr. Condoleezza Rice over Obama any day, though. She's a smart lady. Now if we could only give her Halle Berry's looks and she could get elected.
I just did some calculations (used wikipedia) to check voting tendencies in the US, I'm gonna do some by race next - but all I have to say is WOW: the jews fairly punch above their demographic weight.

After the movie Deep Impact, I always wanted Morgan Freeman to be president. Having an actor who has good camera presense..and half decent national and international understanding without the taint of politics is my ideal president.
For that matter, Geena Davis as portrayed in her short-lived series "commander in chief" would be good too.

Just wait until the Hispanics finally start to mobilise the vote (and the census stats are probably dated - i.e. far more Hispanics around today)!!

Whats funny is that just now the congress has had its first Muslim member appointed. Im sick of these asshats, that is, our people. JUST because hes a MUSLIM it creates this controversy and some people also didnt like the fact that he wanted to use the Koran to swear in (I remember hearing you swear in with the Bible). My bet for the first minority is - some dude will be prez with a woman as VP. Then some crazed lesbian wearing an Indigo Girls t-shirt will gun down the prez.
