I have Battlefield 2 installed and i installed SF first it gave me a problem so i deleted BF 2 and SF.
Then i installed BF2 again and after it i want to instal SF and guess what hapend?  The installation window appeared I had to check the Languange and i pressed ok, the BF2 Windows came and the installation disapeared.

So i cant install SF who i bought.

Did you delete them or uninstall them?

Uninstall both of them, then reinstall bf2 then sf, then patch the game to 1.41.

eh sorry for going a bit OT - do i have to reinstall bf2 (patched 1.41) when i'm going to install sf and patch it afterwards too (like -supremecars-)?

good question, i'm at the same stage myself.

my bf2 is obviously patched to 1.41.
bf2;sf is 1.12 by default on the cdrom, therefore you need to repatch to 1.41 after installing sf to upgrade version of sf from 1.12 to 1.41.
i'm not going to uninstall bf2 v1.41 first & then reinstall from cd as it doesn't seem logical; patching (if your bf2 is already running at 1.41) is for purposes of sf only.

perhaps someone else can confirm this.

Euh... no you dont have to, BF2 with 1.41 install SF restart and again install path 1.41.

That will work.

oh, i did reinstall it all, but it worked, obviously the patch patch SF too so it's needed to run AFTER installing SF, but i think you're right -supremecars-, should've tried that
