my dad just installed a new hard drive and reinstalled windows so  have to reinstall bf2
But..
as far as i can get is to the bit where  you click "install"
i have checked in task manager (ctrl alt del) there is nothing there
disc isnt scratched
any suggestions??

does your windows have separate user accounts?  if so, and if you are trying to install it on yours, then maybe your account doesnt have admin priveleges.  you should get your dad to give you admin priveleges so you can install it.

help!!!     had same problem, uninstalled game, but after reboot, and by reinstall, installation goes to

c:\programs\ea games\battlefield 2\mods\bf2\objects_client.zip

then error,  failed by installation, try again from beginning.

Have cleared reg of all bf2 files and still.....
