I am a full grown man and I don't have a problem with crying, but over a game, no that doesn't happen man. If you payed =-$100 USD for a server, but it was empty that would be a stupid financial decision, IMO. So to keep the Server FULL and actually get kills with skills, and not taking cheap one on a Dragon Vally map, we keep the Rules simple! And like you said, you don't like it you don't have to visit. Now big boy did you feel better for posting that?
By the way we are ranked about 140 in the world as far as servers are ranked, so we like it just the way it is, and we have very happy regulars.
My disdainful post was in reference to the philosophical reasoning behind setting up these lame rules that "help newbies" acclimate to the game. They're not being exposed to the game as it allows a player to play it--they're exposed to a handicapped version. I prefer a no-holds-barred competition, so as I said, I won't be frequenting your "China-can't-attack-the-carrier" server.
Honestly, if it's a ranked server, I don't believe that server specific rules should be allowed. Unranked, I don't give a damn what you do--make a server that disallows crouching for all I care.
The game is just fine the way it is without adding all of these peripheral restrictions. It seems very imature to me to change the already established mechanics of the game, like a couple of infants who can't play chess correctly and therefore must create their own rules of engagement.
There are like 1000 populated servers, find one with the rules you like.
Obviously, I do my best. I play a lot of Special Forces IO, and it's sometimes difficult to find a server with a decent ping without these asinine rules.
