- Human Rights Violations in the Western Hemisphere.
All countries regardless of locations have Human Rights violations....Fin
The guise of civilized vs uncivilized is easily penetrated by taking a brief overlook at how the people Europe used that to commit genocide throughout the Americas, but none the less lets try not to worry about who violates more lets just focus on those that lie about it the most. Hey that's every country doh!

Well, it is true that Argentina is more prosperous than most of South America, but there are many similarities between it and Brazil -- at least from what I've read. Obviously, you know more about Argentina than I do. However, I think it's fair to say that, economically, your country is rather shaky. There is also plenty of poverty there, which leads to crime and human rights violations.sergeriver wrote:
Don't put Argentina in the same bag with the rest of Latin America. I'm not being elitist, but it's the truth. We are a rich country and these Human Rights violations are the same that are committed in any country in the World, like US. Sadly, the Human Rights organizations have no power to make the difference.Turquoise wrote:
On the one hand, there is a ton of corruption throughout South America, Mexico, and Central America.
On the other hand, we have a history of manipulating governments in South America and Central America (see Augusto Pinochet, Columbia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, etc.)
Of course, America has this same poverty to a lesser extent.
