Can you classify going onto a teamspeak server and playing with online friends socialising. to me it is. I'm not saying I don't have any friends but i think talking to my clan is pretty much the same as talking to my friends. What do you guys think?

I say it's ok. Talking is a way of socializing.
Why not? Talking is socializing if you ask me, and if you're chilling and killing with other people whom you consider to be your friends, it sounds social to me.

Socialising is going out your house to meet people. Talking to kiddies on teamspeak is not socialising.
Making friends is socializing.

it is socializing to some extent but nothing beats going out and socializing in real life if you ask me, you gotta talk to people face to face or in person
i totally agree. in fact, 1+ to all DH members!!!
I quite enjoy having a few beers and jumping on TS or VOIP with a few likeminded souls, its a blast!
If you know the guys personally, know what they look like... and have an organized time to get on together, it's BORDERLINE socializing, but 100 percent gaming... so...
