You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.
My BF2 career ended when 1.4 came out. The whole prone-crouch delay was just one of the reasons why I stopped playing, among the release of BF2142 while BF2 was still a shit-for-brains code job. I'd rather play single player games, mostly DOOM 3, Prey, or CoD2 online.

As far as I'm concerned 2142 sucks, the only reason I play it is because I spent 50 bucks on it, I hate 2142 with a passion! If I wanted to play futuristic shooters I'd play Unreal or the new Enemy Territory. I'll continue to play BF2 until Dice comes out with a BF up to par or better than BF2.

I won't stop till i'm 3 star. 4 star will never be a possibility for me. I will play the game for a long time after but not so much.
