WE all have heard by now that Ford has passed away. R.I.P.

I am hearing quite a bit of debate about him pardoning Nixon.

What do you guys think? Did he do the right thing pardoning Nixon and getting on with running the country?

Or did he set a precedent that positions of power can be exploited without reprocussion?

I believe Ford was the first president to support the Indonesian occupation of East Timor. For that reason, I wasn't exactly a big fan of him.

He turned down a offer by Reagan to be V.P. and George H W Bush got the job.
Would W have become president if his dad had not led the way?
Could be if he had become vice President george Bush would not be president now.
