So my laptop kinda died so I had to do a complete recovery of the hard drive and pretty much start over. I installed BF2 again, downloaded the patch and installed that again. Load up the game, retrieve account, adjust video settings and then enter my usual server.
However, once I'm in there, the problems occur. Whenever I move forward, backward, side-to-side, jump, prone etc, there is a delay between the time I press it and the time it carries out what I want to do. The problem reaches the point where I will hold down the W button for a few seconds, nothing happens and then I will move forward for like 10 secs.
I'm not sure what the problem is; can anyone help?
