how often does the favorite victims and enemys update?? im sure im missing about 15 people on my list
well, the stuff chuy is collecting himselfs is probably updating evertime your stats are.
as far as the feed from EA is concerned, I have no idea.

well last time i killed this guy 31 times and it only showed up in other favorite victims like a month later
Well, it updates everytime you view your page -- on the fly.
HOWEVER, you must show up in THEIR stats as the favorite/worst. That info I get from EA. Until 1) EA updates their profile and then 2) I update their profile from EA it won't work.
Not much to do about it

well, there you go.
31 times ? wow, how did that come about ?

Why would you care about how many times you've killed someone? I think it's a stat that shouldn't be involved, what is it used for ? gloating? I personally think it should be deleted. If you killed someone 31 times you need to play a little more 64 full server maps then, or the person is retarded and doesn't have another spawn or was like me once and played on a 24 player map where I was killed 7 times. In other words who cares, and why would you want this??
stats in general have their limitations. either you have fun playing, or you don't. that's all that counts for me. but there are always those who need to compare with others, and for those, stats are probably useful.
also, it can help identifying areas of weakness in your gameplay, and that can help you improve.
as far as I am concerned, stats tend to bring out the worst in people, especially in BF2.
on a side note, I use the favorite victim stat to identify possible stat padders. cry as you will, killing one specific enemy more than 30 times in one round is unusual and could point towards a stat padder.

True, but we really can't justify playing with these guys when we join a server, I really don't search the players to see who is who, I just go in and play and have fun, if I dont' I change servers. I just don't see the point in (as a player not a server or EA admin, as it is justification) just players having this stat. I agree with the stats bring out the worst in people, they tend to rely on that alone to judge other players, I use the stats as my own being. Everyone plays different than others and have different tactics, I see this victims as only a bragging tactic. Just my opinion.
To the same point, pretty much all VIDEO GAME STATISTICS are mostly for bragging rights. I would even venture to say that most statistics in existance are for some sort of bragging-rights/leverage. Businesses use financial stats to 'brag' to investors. Sports fans use stats to 'brag' about who's better than who. Of course, there are lots of stats that aren't used for bragging (deaths per year from XYZ, for instance) -- but video game stats? Bragging.imdead wrote:

Unless you actually use stats to find out where you are weak and need work -- but who doesn't know that already? I'm a shitty engineer.
