Okay guys, Im really really pissed off at EA/Dice on the new patch they have out (1.41) This patch has not only crippled my game, but it has made it so if i do happen to get in a game,it freezes my mouse, also since i have installed the new patch, it has caused so many probloms with my computer that i cant even have more then two windows out and go AFK for a few and come back to find my computer reset it self.
So any ideas as to how i might fix the whole mess? Because i really dont know how to fix this and i want to get playing it again.


EA/Dice sucks at making patches, ive noticed this since i got BattleField 1942. Anyways HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

I have a feeling it isnt only the patch it might also be a virus.

Higly unlikely its the patch making your system unstable. Scan for viruses and spyware on your system. Google for Spybot search and destroy and Ad-Aware SE. (Both free)  download, update and run both to look for spyware. If you dont have an ANti-Virus program, search the threads for recomendations, cant think of a good free one right now.  When your sure your system is clean and Bf is still crashing, re-install and repatch. Otherwise look elsewhere, your problem is most likely software related, especially if it was working ok before.

How do,

I'm using Windows Defender (it really is pretty good at killing spyware etc..!!) or Adaware is good as well.

Download Avast! from www.avast.com, it is free, it doesn't sap your system resources like MacAfee or Norton and is truly awesome - it also supports x64 - which I am running and it rocks along very merrily! It sits there all quiet like until a virus pops up (good for nailing spoof downloads in Limewire etc..) and then the alarms go off. Really nice interface.

Might also need to defrag your system as well. Seems too obvious sometimes, but it may help.

Well i have an anti-virus program and Spyware program and Trojan program, they report nothing :\ i think its time i re-install, thanks for helping guys.

Weird man , i downloaded my 1.4.1 patch last night of EA nothing went wrong i slept through the whole thing and I let it install then i woke up and now i got 1.41 . Nothings wrong i suggest install it again' off a trusted site otherwise ur screwed thats why im to careful good luck
