Hey ya guys.

I've got a problem.

When im in game everything is ok but after a while bf2 start lagging only it isn't lag it like when u run a program on the background (only there isn't)

I alrdy did the following.
-Reinstalled the game.
-Changed vid settings to lower settings.
-checked for programs running on the background.
-update newest fx drivers

noting helped.

here's my PC stats.

Pentium 4   3.20 GHz
Geforce 7600 GT
1gb  RAM



this all began when i've installed the 1.41 patch

You might try reformatting. I have heard this will fix it. I have the same problem, and have tried EVERYTHING else, with no luck. EA support refused to admit that is has anything to do with the patch. They claimed that either my system suddenly and mysteriously couldn't handle BF2 anymore or that my ISP was having problems. I haven't decided whether it is worth the hassle to reformat or not. Might just give up. Just downloaded the demo for Armed Assault. We'll see how that goes.

thats crappy
i did 1 thing more and that is deleting spyware.
But the scan didn't found any spyware on my pc.
So again i don't know what to do.
Really crappy cause i used to play BF2 alot.
but now after playing 1 round (and when im in luck 2) my game starts to lag.

i know that my pc only does this with BF2 i play guild wars alot also en no problems there.

Does everyone disable their anti virus when they play?   Ive never done it.

Me neither, i wont take the risk for that little bit of extra performance.

I play COD2 and FEAR online as well. They run smooth as silk. My singleplayer BF2 also runs nice and smooth. Only multiplayer stutters.

I think i got it.

I screwed open my  PC and checke dmy CPU cooling thingy.
and it was coverd with dust like a thin layer of silk.

so i hope that this is the problem
but i almost know 100% for sure.

yeah me 2 i never have 2, only if the virus is incorporated with the firewall then the anti virus has to be disabled, also if its two different software also it has to be done unless you are using XP firewall.
