How do Repair points work? I thought I just needed to be at the gun post in a vehicle but obviously not.

Played yesterday (as engineer) and I was the gunman on a chopper. When the chopper was damaged, I thought I would repair it while in air. Same thing with the tank. (Not in midair, though...)

How do they work???

Please help!!!

Get out and repair it manually. While you're in some vehicles, you repair the ones around you, but not your own. NEVER your own. Also, in a transport heli you can repair it while in the heli.

Uh...you use your wrench on a vehicle that someone is in...or on a commander asset. When you've repaired 100% total health, you'll get a point.

You can only repair it from the inside if you are sitting with your wrench out and wrenching it.

Auto repair only works on other vehicles near you.

You also get repair points if you are an engineer and you park next to someone who is damaged, IE: two tanks side-by-side repairing each-other.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate this.

But one more question; When playing commander you don't get any Team Points, but if you give someone a med-pack, ammo or repairs something, it will be counted for at the stats-board? (Pardon for possibly bad language...)

I'm not sure about that one, but I think it counts as absolutely nothing.

But I've heard rumors about getting these badges as commander.

You are completely correct about that. You won´t recieve any Team Points but it will show up on your Global Stats.

Note that you only get repair points if someone is in the vehicle you are repairing - unless it is a commander asset

take a HUMMV or VODNIK drive HARD so its getting damaged ..get in 3rd position and use wrench
also heard that you drive hummve or vodnik in the water so it will damage and finally destroy itself ..take position F3 or F4 and start repair A.S.A.P.
ESSEX gun on IRON GATOR works fine 2 (got 11 repairs yesterday )

Karkand ... driven a Vodnik in the water at train accident till i got a few then this guy starts to shout : repairs needed he was in a tank ...drove like MADMAN to get him repaired ...didnt get me a point so i started BASHING my VODNIK against Armour i was repairing ...GOT IT !!! 20 repairs !!
Only have 63 repairs left for the Meritorious Service Medal A HOOAH!!! YEAH !!!

P.S. if you are not DETECTED by an ADMIN or who-ever you can get all 20 repairpoints in a hummv or vodnik on the F3 position or F4 position while almost sinking in the water GOODLUCK 2 ya all
