Do you know how to correctly reinstall the game.
Yeah I reinstalled the game a week ago when I got my new comp and got the shaders error too. Just delete your shortcut and create a new one (or open directly from the directory). Solved all the errors.

did u install sf after trying to patch?i got shaders problem that way
supposed to install SF before you patch
havent installed SF when igot problem
after i patched it went to shader file inc/programefiles/bf2/mods/shaders and delete all in that folder got the client shaders .rar file out of bf2mods folder and extractd them back in to shaders folder now i can play but i dont kno if its the same prob u got

You installed SF after the patch?
There's your problem.
Uninstall everything, install bf2, install sf, patch.
Worked for me ('cept for the shortcut thingy).
