I went as far once as to tweak a neighbors router to send more bandwidth to games (BF2) when I had just moved into my apartment... so no, I don't feel bad about it.

I have ISP usernames/passwords for three accounts from houses around me, because linksys isn't smart enough to hide them in the webpage (can be drawn from source if you wanna know). Also, too many people use 'admin' as password
Two of them are much faster than my own package, so I have two laptops hooked up to them constantly downloading at like 200 kb/s.

My friend steals his internet connection. Sometimes from the house to his right, sometimes from the house to his left. No protection on either.
I leave my router on and un protected the neighbours the 2 I have I let them use my internet and the safety is off if there is someone else using my internet (I have neighbours IP's) I check with my neighbours if they got someone else that connected and if not I just disconnect them. Easy as that you can use it but if your neighbours are smart they will just disconnect you.
If someone is so hillbilly enough that they will buy a computer and not pay for internet access, then they are retarded.
if your dumb enuf to leave the router on without any security settings, then u deserve to get screwed over by your neighbours.

Yeah people don't realize how easy and how important it is to set up wireless security. You never know what people might be viewing off of your connection or how they might be eating your bandwidth. Somebody could be watching kiddie porn off of YOUR wireless. Kind of scary.

Do you expect peoples parents, grandparents or people who just have no technical bone in there body just to not go near PCs?
Computer companies and especially wireless router providers are the fookwits to allow no security.
Its theft however you dress it up.... or if you also change settings add criminal damage
Oh and sometimes its not a noob that hasn't set a password... but someone thats set up an open connection to steal your private details while you think your being such a smart arse.
