A nice chocolate cream with pecans in the mix and whipped cream on top instead of meringue is always worth the time it takes to eat.

A good coconut cream is acceptable.

You can't go wrong with apple, either cold without ice cream or hot with vanilla ice cream. I can eat pumpkin or pecan the same way I do the apple.

Pretty much unless it's cherry, pie rocks.

Quick question. Do any Americans eat 'proper' savoury pies? Like steak and ale, chicken and bacon or suchlike.

I don't know what you mean by "proper", but we do eat "pot pie", usually beef or chicken in gravy with vegetables.

Meat pie/Pot pie is good (they are both the same, meat gravy, veggies in a flaky, buttery crust)
