Can anyone tell me what part of a cobra or blackhawk helicopter carries enough armor to withstand a 120mm smoothbore shot from an abraham tank?


Honestly, i love shooting down choppers with a tank, cuz i know those guys in there freak out when it happens. Since it doesnt matter where i shoot the chopper, cockpit, egine, tail whatever, I have to mark that thing again with a clean shot to down it.

It feels ABSOLUTLY GREAT!!!! And happens all the time. But come on, for realisms sake.

When I get 1 tank shot in my face while flying it's usually pretty devastating. 1 Tank blast then the tank MG takes down heli's pretty easily for me.

i shot a few down with a tank but i shot down more with a machine gun in the back of a mec jeep...its way better than the crappy stinger

Yeah the FAV is better at shooting enemy air vehicles than the stinger.  Sad.  And I agree with the first post.  At least in Desert Combat tanks killed choppers with one hit.
