I read in the banlist yesterday that he was perm banned for attacking an uncap. What do the other server admins think, should we give him a second chance?

My idea is, we could maybe unban him if he promises to follow our rules in the future.

Slayer has allready unbanned him by mistake(atleast that's what he said)

The ban for base raping is excessive. A kick is fine, but banning is too much.

And grasping back to base raping, that needs to be redefined as:

Being in the enemy uncap with:

* no intent of either stealing vehicles
* no intent of blowing up commander assets
* no intent of using ground & air defense in your self protection in the case of 'active' threats, which not allow you to safely leave the enemy uncap.

If I can pitch in here - it should be:

Warning => Kick => 3-day Ban => Perm Ban

Does not aply for Hacks (auto perm ban) or glitches/exploits (3-day/perm)

I know I'm not an admin, but that's just my thoughts

Unless there's a "telepathy" option in BF2142CC that I'm not aware of, these will be impossible to enforce. Anyone can say "but i didnt meen 2!!1!one" after the fact.

@Jenspm, yeah we generally follow that path. We all have enough experience now to use our judgement on different cases. We are all in safe hands.

We ll decide ourselves what excessive or not, also this is not the topic to talk about rules, as a mod you should know better.
