How can I not have an idea what I'm talking about? It's my fucking opinion, I hate orthodox religious people. Not the people themselves, but their practices.
There is no such thing as orthodox religious people. Not as one at least. There's orthodox jews, orthodox christians and so on. These groups have nothing in common. So yes, you have no idea what you're talking about.
Basically you just said "orthodox christians" aren't people. They are as one, because they all practice their religion to the highest and most literal extent.
They are orthodox. They are religious. They are people. They're orthodox religious people. gg.
Perhaps you need to re-read things before you post. Thanks.
Its obvious there's been a misunderstanding of some sort... It's like Bubbalo says: orthodox vs Orthodox.
Anyway orthodox=ορθόδοξος (ορθός=correct + δοξάζω=praise/ celebrate) so there's no negative meaning in the word. I guess it was first used due to the schism of christianity between Byzantium and Rome.
For some reason (catholic propaganda maybe?) you're all connecting the term to something other than its original meaning with no apparent reason.
And ffs I don't even care. I'm not religious so I'm not orthodox or whatever and I hate having to support some religion. Just bear in mind that the term is not negative so you'll have to come up with something else to imply radicalism, since Orthodox Christians with whom I'm familiar with and can speak of, may be a lot of things but radical is not one of them.
btw how did this orthodox=fundamentalist come about?
