hello evry 1 ,actualy I downloaded a new patch and now Im install it but its still like that say:please wait ....,along time and still waiting and nuthin I wanna know why?/ and how i can update bf2 without that problem? (I didnt play the game 5months ago)

I don't know if thats the same problem, but I also had that. After a few weeks of trying someone told me to download the patch NOT from EA official server but from somewhere else. If u search internet u will find a bunch of sites that have this update. Try doing it from there.

I had some problems with the update also - I went away had some food and when I came back it had gone through. dunno if that helps
same nuthin changed I've got anther patch from other website and still the same problem ,and my PC still slow 2 (I have windows Home edition)
Installing the 1.12 path takes some 5-10 mins on a P4 with lotsa ram. Just give it time and it will finish. The patch doesent install new files, but actually write existing files again, and also write some new files.. Thats why its taking so long.
Ya, one reason I hate EA Patches is that they don't have a progress bar or infomation section of progress of the patch, makes you think you have to wait forever!
