Everytime I load a game of sf i get to about 14% loading and then this error comes up and says

"mods/bf2/shaders/terrainshader.fx not found!!! Do_check your working directory, And_sync your shaders folder "

I have that terrainshader.fx in my shaders folder what else do i need to do ?


Last night it worked just fine and now its saying its not found

Can someone please help fix my problem?

Okay i re-installed bf2 and then i re-installed the 1.41 patch for bf2 and it still says that it cant found the terrainshader.fx not found

what else should i do to fix my problem ?

When you reinstalled, did you completely remove the Battlefield 2 folders out of C:\Whatever Folder\ and My Documents?

yes i did eveything was cleared out even the patch i re-download the patch and then installed it again

re-install SF, if you bought it online, dont worry, theyll let you re-download it., re-installing bf2 will not fix your SF problems. one time all my sf maps dissapeared

Thats probably the problem you have.

SF automatcially repatches to 1.2 no matter what version you have installed. So after putting SF on, you will have to patch 1.41 again.

I had to reinstall the whole game the other day since it turned out I had a corupt file that wouldnt patch to 1.41.
EA officially said to do it in this order:

Install BF2
Install SF
Patch 1.41
Install EF
Install AF
Patch 1.41

omfg, i have a another problem with btw 2 special forces...
Wtf is that for an expansion pack. It kills the game if you
cannot play it and it makes you sick. You're always tryin
to reinstall it but it still does'nt works. Wtf, wtf?!?
