Oh, so if we dont toss women and children in ovens, we are no better than the nazi's in our treatment of prisoners?  Maybe we should test biological weapons on them like the Japs did to allied prisoners.  Lets take away their custom meals and religious freedom and toss them in an oven since we are no better.

oh im sorry, i must have been confused when someone compared GITMO to concentration camps...........i was pretty sure that the nazis are the most prevelant group to have used concentration camps..........

I don't hate Americans, when did i say i did?  I like a lot about America with the exception of some of it's foreign policies.

People disagreeing with things your country does doest mean they hate you.  Oh and for the record Britain's just as bad, i despise our government equally.

Which isn't necessarily good. The euro is too strong already, european made goods and tourism could suffer if the euro got stronger. A weaker dollar means more US exports, which means a desperately needed adjustment to their commercial deficit. If the dollar fell a bit, it would actually help the US.

That is totally untrue. The dollar is already at an all time low compared to the currencies of all of their primary trading partners, especially China, the EU and the UK. If the dollar falls further then it can only really have a detrimental effect on the American economy. The most obvious way to stabilise the dollar will be to raise interest rates, which in a society so deep in personal debt will have a significant cumualtive negative economic effect.

Having a weak currency will help the US on exports, but imports will be more expensive. The US is the most consuming nation there is and imports more than they export. Even nations specifically dependent on cheap exports (most notably China) like to have strong currencies since it increases levels of foreign investment.

I have not seen anyone charged and convicted with anything....I may be 100% wrong, but no convictions I  have seen.

No convictions that I know of. But rulings by the supreme court (in June I believe) saying what they were doing was wrong and illegal.

Getting away with something doesn't make it right.

No, there were indeed no crimes commited. I think, it's something like a law-free area. No country of the world, not even the US, can influence what's going on there by legal actions.
