Please learn to spell before you label someone a dumbass.  It usually helps your credibility.

And yes, I know the national debt has been with us for quite some time.  That's different from a budget deficit.  A budget deficit only represents an annual debt that is added to the national debt.  When the government spends more than it receives in taxes, it runs a budget deficit.  When it spends less than it receives, it runs a surplus.

I hope those are simple enough terms for you to comprehend, since your post shows that you didn't know the difference between an accumulated debt and an annual deficit.
