I don't think having the most kills makes you the best sniper. It's something else....

The 14,000 are pure snipe, The sniper rifle leaderboards are based on sniper rifle kills alone and no other kills are factored in. Unlike the 'sniper kit' leaderboards which would then factor in tanks, planes, frags, clay's etc. etc.

with the RIFLE: kills - 3,757 deaths - 2,880

Sniper is just a term. He doesn't have to use a sniper rifle. He can use a Rocket Launcher, Pistol, Knife to snipe someone down. So all planewh0res are snipers with the MGs on the plane
And knife/pistol for the win.

I consider myself to be the best sniper (but doesn't everyone?), my accuracy is good (would be better if i had mastered bullet-drop earlier), my K/D ratio is good and rising rapidly as i get better and i think i make a valuable addition to my team by doing what a sniper should be doing - long range recon and spotting/killing targets for my team-mates when they assault a CP. I've also got bullet-drop down to a fine art now - doesn't matter if you are 300m, running, jumping, doing little pirouettes - i'll still drop you
