When you write a proposal at work and publish it for all to see will we find that word?

Just out of curosity, how do you pronounce it?

EDIT: I just saw it...MEH is not a word.

“teh” is a misspelling for the word “the”, that for some reason younger people (usually school age) seem to think is more “cool” than the properly spelt version.

I sometimes write "teh" in stead of "the" , and it has nothing to do with my age, but wit my native country, in my case Holland. So dont blame it on the younger ones (I know that they will but among the "teh"spellers too)

Actually. I do believe that these habits you speak of is a part of how words are created, seeing as language is a living thing shaped by the people who use it.

Examples are aplenty: colour became color in the US. It is = It's... (and many more which i can't dream up right now)

My point is that, wheter we like it or not, how people choose to use words just might end up changing the language.

Other than that - i totally agree that "teh" is a strange word to use.. (then again - didn't "ask" become "axe" somewhere in the US?)

Unlike some (most) people I tend to read words. Misspellings jump out at me and I have to stop and think. I've seen that paragraph that some Ivy League school wrote several times. I know what it says because I've seen it several times but I still hate trying to read it. It was just freshly posted last week.

But, to answer your question, yes, this is a complaint. If you have nothing constructive to add then STFU.
