- launching core bf2 while SF disc is in drive
Yes. It will exit to the desktop and start up whichever application it needs.
Either disk with launch either game. I haven't taken my SF cd out in forever and I haven't played SF but only a few times.
I had the SF disc in and for some reason after playing it a couple times, if I don't reboot, the next time i try to play hours later I would get a windows crash error when loading until I reboot. Switching to my original BF2 disc cured that. just an fyi.
ya, my DVD drive is dedicated to SF
Havnt opened the drive ever since i put the disc in

Go to the community menu, then user mods, then battlefield 2 to switch to BF2 from SF. Opposite works as well.
i havent unpacked my SF disk since i installed it but my regular BF2 disk lives in my secondary DVD drive
I don't even have disc in my drive. I'm using mini-image so my real DVDs won't broke or anything and there's less noice
anyone know how to fix the long load times when switching from SF to BF2. I was on a SF server and they had Karkan in the mix, when it left Iron Gator to Karkan it was like I turned off Sf and then launched BF2, i haven't notice anyone really complaining about this but was curious to know if anyone was going to address it in a future patch.Cougar wrote:

Discs? What do you speak of? I imaged mine the day I bought the games and haven't used the discs since.
