get a 7600GT instead of gs more money but well worth it
mobo will support your cpu just fine

as mentioned, get a 7600 GT, and for wiring, check the info given with the products.

get a 7900gt, j/k, but a 7600gt would be fine for now.  if your worried about compatability just look the model number up on newegg and it will give you the specs.  you'll also see all of the user reviews on it.  nice little reference if you will.  as far as your dvd rom goes, just take the screws out from the bracket and there should be a 4-pin connector in the back if memory serves me correctly.  the 4-pin connector is from your power supply, which by the way you might need to look into if your doing a good upgrade.  what is yours?  you want a nice power supply matched with a new cpu and video card, but your 7600 series card doesn't really need a whole helluva lot of power.  if your psu is old like mine was, then get a new one.  you'll sleep better at night.

What kind of power supply do you have? Might want to get something more robust if you're upgrading a store bought machine.

might want to boost it up to a 500 or 600, but a 400 should work.

Just pipelines (2 less, from 24 to 22 I believe) and a slower clock speed which can be fixed with ATITool. For the power supply in the case, try it, if it doesn't work get a new one.
