today when i was playing on my favourite server this it kept on freezing and saying i had been kicked by punkbuster because of an authenication problem and that i should re-install punkbuster. WTF is punkbuster and how do i re-install it if i didnt know i had it. please help cause its pissing me right off.
Punkbuster blocks all the cheaters and hackers out of the game... at least it tries to do that. Don't know how you should solve the problem. Are you sure you installed the latest bf2 patch?
yeah its everything is installed. i have played on that server alot lately and had no problems until today. and it only happens on that server. i just tried again on a different server and it kicked my for failing to comply with some wierd code shit. why is it being so shit?
go onto the punkbuster website it did that on mine download and update punkbuster mine wrks fine now btw i do not know what there website url is

yup. evenbalance.com is it. my bro had similar troubles with PB and had to eventually uninstall Punkbuster and reload it for bf2 and SF. You delete it, not uninstall it. there are answers to all your ills on the evenbalance site, although it is a messy site.
