Ok so lets say I have over 50 knife kills, but no Basic Knife Badge. If I get the 7 kills in one round, will I recieve the Basic badge, or the veteran badge? This is important for my next rank advancement beacuse if I get veteran and not basic, then I will not be able to get Sergent First Class.

First you will get the Basic and then right after it should give you the Veteran.

That doesnt mean they can't be vet. Its a MINIMUM of basic.

just cause you have the vet badge doesn't mean you don't have the basic badge....
so having a vet badge means you also have the basic....
so having a vet badge means you also have the basic....
when you earn two badges in the same round it records the vet one only, not the basic. thats why so many people were angry about not ranking up to the next level. i think its fixed tough.. not sure. used to be like that
u are completly wrong, i earned both my vet and basic at the same round, how? i had 50 knife kills but no basic badge. knifed 7 ppl IAR and it said i was awarded the vetty badge, when i checked on BFHQ it showed on my recent awards list that i had the basic and vetty right next to each other. sum of ur friends did not rank up maybe because the were maser sergeant already. the ranks are NOT progresable-(PK)-DarkIllusion wrote:

last versions it was a problem... if you got basic and vet in one round it would record only vet, do a search on the forum if those topics aren't delete you'll see hundreds of people complaining about it. It's probably fixed now but never checked, so before you start saying somebody is wrong do a search.
Well Thanks guys, but it shouldn't be a problem now. I earned my knife badge today on the first try, so I don't even need to worry about this. I knew it was a problem before and I just wanted to know if it had been fixed yet.

You are Master Sergeant, but had you gotten the basic knife badge before vet knife, you would have been First Sergeant.
Wow, someone who wasn't around at the time of patch 1.03, I guess. There were a lot of people who got promoted to Master Sergeant at the time, despite having got all the badges. The main reason was people had got the veteran knife badge (at the same time as basic) and BFHQ only saw the veteran and decided they didn't have the right qualifications for First Sergeant.cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:

Apparently it's may be fixed now but the legacy of the fuck-up remains.
Yea that same thing happened to me, both basic and vet badge poped up at the same time.
