Hey all, so this is my story:
So I'm bored, can't fall asleep, so I figure I'll pull an all-nighter randomly and play some BF2 vanilla. I log on, click multiplayer, click join internet, and then click favorites. One of my favorites is the 24/7 - Sharqi Insomniac365 server (click for server info on game-monitor.com) since it's one of the few servers that a good buddy of mine can play on (something to do with his school's firewall only allowing certain ports). Anyways, I click join, it starts to load, verifies, and the "Join Game" button appears. I click it expecting another fun round of BF2 and instead all that pops up is a message saying that the server only allows people with un-modified game files to play. So I figured since I was able to play before on the server it must be the mod I downloaded/installed today causing the trouble. So I uninstall the mod, restart BF2, go through the process again until I am at the same screen I was at before and click "Join Game" again. This time I get a message stating I was kicked "either by an admin or for excessive teamkilling or something else in-game related". So I'm like "WTF?!" and click "Join Game" again and this time I'm BANNED! SERIOUSLY, WTF?! Anyone know of any way of contacting them asking why they banned me and if I can get unbanned? I have never cheated/hacked/used exploits and play, imo, like a good player (good meaning in behavior not skill ). I am really upset by this. If it helps entice anyone to help me, any replies that help me in getting back into the server will get some karma... ..... all I ask is Why? and can I get back into one of my few favorite servers out there?
