hey guys, well here what happened, im gunna give it to you in steps.
1. Decide to play a regular bf2 server.
2. insert regular bf2 disk, click a regular server, playing a regular map.
3. press join now, it says 'Your CD Key is not valid.' (Ive fixed this problem before...but i forget how to fix it)
4. Decide to pop in the SF disk, so i go to play a SF server.
5. Says that i dont have the official copy or whatever of SF
6. So now i cannot play any servers.
7. so i try this (wich is wat i did before to fix the cd key error):
a. Delete patch, reinstall patch
b. Restart Computer
c. Re enter CD key
d. Restart Computer
e. try a regular server, still says cd key error. (I also un-installed SF)
Again, what am i supposed to do when the Invalid CD Key error comes up? I right click the bf2 icon on my desktop, click find target, go to support, then go to re enter my CD key. I must enter the key on the back of the instruction of the regular game, because if i enter the SF one, it says that it is invalid, which is obvious. I eneter the regular key, and the box disspears, but it still says my key is invalid.
oh yes, also now when i press join server, it just crashes to the desktop. yippeee
