I think the current cycle (gibraltar, belgrade, cerbre, berlin, tunis) is doing great. I was online last night till ~1.00 CET (not ingame but with CC) to see the server being full for >75%. Only when Berlin started, some people disconnected, especially when it became one-sided.
yeah, I´ve changed the mapcycle yesterday evening. Sorry for not asking about it at all. I think it´s a pretty good idea to run only citymaps.
For keeping the server filled this is true. But maybe you should create a bigger cycle and with only one time the Berlin map like; gibraltar, belgrade, cerbre, berlin, tunis, gibraltar, belgrade, cerbre, tunis
well, tbh, I thought Berlin is one of the most popular maps
Sometimes it is but when the PAC can't get through (or EU guys, I don't know anymore) it will end in a rape-fest and it gets bored for the winning ones and the losing team will also disconnect.
yeah, I know what you´re talking about... But I dont think it´s a general problem of the map, only of the PAC team! Was nearly the same with Karkand in BF2! Most public players dont seem to know that there are other flags to cap and not only the crossroads aka hotel in Karkand...

yeah, just like in good old Karkand... It has nothing to do with a unbalanced map imo, only with the team! Running like lemmings into the APC and Walker and wondering why they got owned so badly and start complaining about unfair teams etc etc.
Karkand was a little more balanced. as a good US sniper, you could make alot of good kills. here you get naded from every cornerSl4y3r wrote:

there are only three ways through the first check point (down mainstreet, down the big hill to the right or between the buildings on the left) and all are easily defended on a 64 player server. throw in the apc and walker and the result is that if you don't get through at the beginning of the round by rushing your apc, walker, and basically everyone else then you're not going to have much of a chance.

Yeah the lack of transports and the abundance of easy spots to defend make this a rather onesided map.
if you drone surf up to 700 meters you can jump off and land at EU main base
