I'm here today to teach you maggots what your place is in the game,depending on your chosen class.
What you do with it is your choice,but don't bring shame on my beloved corps!!
Alright,here we go then:
1. Assault class: You are the meat and potatoes of every army.The points you can achieve are mainly for kills and capping flags,so that is what you do!!Leave the friggin tanks for the engineers,they'll cover your assault on the flag,while you look out for noob-tubers.Give 'em hell,soldier!
2. Sniper : Stay unseen,move around the hotspots and "reach out and touch someone".You are a spectator of the battle with the possibility to change waht you are seeing,like an ugly enemy laying near an unguarde flag.Find a nice elevated position,choose your targets wisely and if you don't have soft targets - spot them.You are the extended eyes of the commander as long as his scan is down,don't leave him sitting blind in the base.
3. Medic : You are the guy with a halo,look out for your buddies.That means heal,heal,heal!!!And please don't revive people that were wounded by an APC,you'll get 1 revive point but the enemy tanker gets 4 points for the 2 kills he just made - you and your patient.Kill when you have to,but remember that your job is to preserve life!A good medic always has more team points than kills.
4. Support : The name is the game....ammo is always needed,give your buddies plenty of it.SpecOps,Anti-tank and Engineers are much more effective if they always have enough ammo.While you are "reloading" your ammo bags you lie down and give the enemy a little taste of what we call "supressing fire".That means go prone,hammer down,get trigger happy.When you can pin the enemy down and they are scared to move out in the open you give your buddies time to act and react.
5. Engineer : Now that is an underestimated guy!Don't use this class as shotgun-assault-class,you are wasting so much talent.Engineers are vehicle personnel,they belong in a tank,APC or chopper.On foot they stay close to vehicles and repair like there's no tomorrow,lay AT-mines around the homebase to prevent spawnrape-tankwhoring and keep the commander's assets functional at all times.See yourself as a Mr.Fix-it or as baseprotection,the enemy specops are closer than you think.Only resort to close-combat-shotgunning if you have to.
6. SpecOps : SABOTAGE!!!!Go and wreck up the enemy base,leave the enemy commander blind and helpless!
As sad as it sounds,your job is baseraping,you have to keep the enemy assets out of order,every opposing force has to be destroyed in the process.See yourself as pain in the ass,the fly in the ointment,don't let the enemy commander have an arty-joyride,every second you keep the arty down your buddies are save from shrapnel showers.
7. Anti-Tank : This is where meat meets metal.You walk with the assault- and support-guys,keep rushing enemies quiet with your DAO-12 and look out for your main prey - tanks,APCs and cars.Most of the time when trying to cap a flag the assaulters get raped by an APC or even a Vodnik,there are soldier-shreds all over the place.This is where you come into play.Play cat and mouse,don't let the tanker know where you are,sneak around buildings and stick a rocket up his armored butt!
This is it,just a short overview of the classes and how I'd like people to use them.
I'd like to hear your opinions and criticism about this,if this chapter of my "Big Book of War"( LOL ) is appreciated I'll give you my 2 cents about vehicles and the commander's job too.
