Hey guys, I'm gunna start tweaking BF2 so it will run really good i hope. My screen res is 1280x960, but i dont want to run it at that res on bf2, as it will just make it harder for my video card and it will make more lag, so i have it at 800x600. im wondering about the refresh rate, the number after the @ symbol. do i want a higher refresh rate, so it will lag less? or a lower one?

Lower lags less.

Try tweaking to see what suits your system best. Mine is on lowest rate @ lowest resolution, I have zero lag (every map day/night) and there's not much in the way of difference when it comes to visuals.

As on your other thread.... Have a read of that site, it's been a great help to many

yes, io printed out the Video tweaking section. thanks guys. Just watch, i'll do everything to suit my system perfectly, and i'll still get lag. lol.

There will always come a time, and we dread it, that an upgrade is the only solution to some of the problems we encounter..... for instance, why do you think EA shipped the BF2 SF game with a leaflet from Nvidia graphics cards (UK).... I just get the feeling they're trying to tell us that have 'lower end' specs something

For information. EA/Nvidia suggested the 7800GTX 512 ram PCIE card for 'full effect'... and at a cost of £400.00, that's a mighty big upgrade
