i just bought a LCD and play at my recommended native rez of 1280x1024. Everything looks fine except the text on the server browser and the names in BF2. Most text looks a little corrupted or a blurry. Is this normal with LCDs at this rez? I put my AA and AF to max and still get this problem. Ive even reinstalled my nvidia display driver with the newest driver and still nothing.

Also, about the AA and AF. I raised them to 4x and didnt notice a difference but that it was alot slower. Is this supposed to happen on a 7800GT and is this why people go SLI?

i use 75HZ and i thought herts didnt matter as much on LCDs as they do on CRTs

nop refresh rate can make a differance on a monitor

have you tried just pressing the auto button on your monitor if you have one?

if you have that shud sort the problem

Hmm.. Might want to try to reduce that to 60HZ. I lose some image quality when I use 75hz.
On an LCD screen, the HZ doesn't affect the refresh rate too much.

This is the best i could do to show the text corruption because in color you can't see it as clearly. Don't ask how i did this because i dont even know. and how do you change the size of BF2 screen shots because when you make them they are the size of my monitor. What are some programs that are good for editing screen shot so i can make them smaller?

The underlined words was purposely done so i could show you.
Above the underlines there are two horizontal dots and there mostly under the "a." I get other weird things too like a line like this, " | " between letters especially after capital "A."
