Its an FN FAL Assault Rifle with a Scope Modification attached to it
it fires a 7.62 by 51 mm round and is very powerful
It was not designed to fire the 7.62 round but ever since NATO announced that all their rifles would fire it
its been stretched to its limits
on full auto mode it is virtually uncontrollable.

And yes, the FAL was designed to fire .30. Prototype was in 7.92. 5.56 came after 7.62.
