No but seriously, when you consider that global average temperatures have changes 0.6*C over the past 100 years, it seems pretty unlikely that that's why your weather sucks.

It's about 39 degrees out. My bed room is freezing.

About average.  Getting a good snow pack and I find my self wishing I had money to hit the slopes

Your an Idiot if you think global warming is going to suddenly make everywhere summer weather. The changes are very little on average but those small changes have a great effect on weather conditions. Changes in water currents, water temperature and wind makes weather a lot more volatile and you will see huge extremes in temperatures as quoted by many people already. It also makes weather related natural disasters more frequent and volatile.

The Day after Tomorrow is based on bullshit. Not just exagerated scientific evidence, pure nonsense, that's what it's based on. There is virtually no evidence suggesting anything remotely like what happened in that awful film will happen as a result of global warming. Certainly there will be no sudden catastrophic changes. The effects of global warming will be felt gradually, as the effects get worse the rate of change is likely to increase, but not at any sort of sudden rate. We're talking about countries flooding over a period of decades and rivers drying up over a similar timescale that will create problems - not ice storms and tsunamis in New York.

I'm in England so it's raining, nothing new there. Actually for this time of year it's pretty warm hence why it's always sodding raining ggggrrrrrr

I spent the weekend at the Apollo Summer Residence in central Finland.

The normal procedure for taking a middle-of-the-night outdoors leak this time of the year would be to dress warmly, wade thru the snow to the woods' edge, and be quick about the act of pissing. To avoid freezing of the family valuables.

Last night I went out in my shorts and t-shirt, took a nice long piss and walked about the yard for a good bit. It was like a (chilly) summer night. Weird.

very very average here. maybe a few degrees warmer, but more or less about the same old 30-40F.

They've turned gradual effects, which will most likely be absolutely devastating, into instant catastrophies. The only effects even remotely similar to events portrayed in that joke of a film would be a likely increase in many types of extreme weather phenomenons.

The real devastation caused by climate change will be political and economic. About 40% of the worlds population get their water from melting snow on the Himalayas, for example, with the glaciers there gone the rivers they feed will dry up leading to mass drought.

Bert either way we know Global Warming is happening, so his reply is wrong technically but still correct that it is happening.
