Why would anyone do that? So they can have a 'cool' amount of points? Hmmm, I'm sure they'll impress a sixteen year old somewhere.

Yes only person they are cheating is themselves,my stats aint great,but ive played the game to enjoy it and why pay the money to ea for sf and bf2 not to get the fun out of it,if you wanna cheat and get loads of points the are plenty of free online games tbh

It's what the top 20 or so players do to get thier score so high.One of them I played with for example was support class flying the blackhawk.He wanted the crew to endlessly throw grenades.Even when there were no enemies around.Nor were we near a flag.I guess everyone gets somthing different out of the game.Still sad though.
