It's a toss up between the Super Cobra and the Havoc for me.

And the Chinese WZ-10 should really be on that list.

Someone playing BF2 a little too much?  All those helicopters you mentioned were BF2 choppers.

AH-64 Longbow.

WAH 64-D Apache Longbow!  It looks the business, it hurts lots of things at the same time!

Pain in the ass to work with, I  should know, its my job to work with it!

Because Russian 'shit' is cheap, high quality and probably the best value military tech available. Developing your own weapons costs loads of money.

The KA-52 has outperformed the Apache in many tests. I doubt it's as good overall, but I bet it's much cheaper.

The KA-50 is not so good though.
God you are dumb. How can you say something like "many" tests and still say it's not as good overall.

Anyways, I don't know much about rl choppers, as I'm sure none of you do either, but the military channel voted the Apache number 1.
Many tests. Like the Turkish design competition that the KA-50-2 came second in after the Cobra, beating the Apache and Eurocopter.

Yet on performance and general expert opinion the Apache seems to be top. Mostly down to it's extreme high tech targeting systems.

I know very little about choppers. I have studied turboprops (my lecturer stuck one in the back of an estate car and used it for drag racing, it was one of the student group projects (1800bhp)) in a course on gas turbine engines and I have done courses dealing with rockets and missile tech, but that doesn't help much. I go on what the experts say.
So many tests, as in one test that sounds like a competition more than a test.

Are you saying a competition isn't a test?

There have been other comparisons drawn and test performance data from the Apache and the KA-50-2 can easily be compared. The Apache is ahead in most areas, but there are some things the Alligator is better at than the Apache. The lack of tail rotor offers improved performance and it is more manoeuvrable than the AH-64D. Which is why the Russians have placed an order for some.

Well, when it's a design competition to see who's made the best helicopter, I'd call that a test. In fact, since the competition was made up of a number of challenges then that's what it is a number of tests.

You are thinking of the RAH-66 Comanche which the program was canceled 2004 or 2005. It isnt black but pretty close.

Not in production for the PLA yet.

I don't think they are all on an equal playing field because they are designed to meet a certain role in mind, or to have a certain quality of some sort. I think the Apache is probably the best, even though I voted for the Euro Tiger. Euro Tiger is better than the Cobra, but pretty expensive.

And like what CommieKiller just said, the WZ-10 isn't in production yet. No one is really sure how it will perform, but it will probably out perform anything else the PLA has to offer ATM. It doubt it will be superior in anything compared to western standards, but it will be a great step forward for China, which is pretty cool.

Now if I could own any of them listed, I'd probably get myself the Mi-28 Havoc.

LOL actually I didn't know the havoc was in BF2.  I never play special forces cause it's insanely laggy for me.

And the WZ-10 is slightly different from the PLA Z-10 in the game.  And I kind of came to these conclusion cause one of my clan mates actually works for a helicopter repair/production factory and after many talks with him over the years those three helicopters kind of rate as the best attack helos IMO.
