I honestly don't care. Fact is, you made the post to glorify your worldview. You weren't upset with how I said things: you were upset with the fact that I challenged your belief. And you aren't the only one to do it.
Bubbalo, your post was about not seeing the other side of things. In this thread you seem to not see that you did offend people, not because of their believes, but because of who they/their family are. There are a lot of military people on this forum, or people who are related to them. You have to see that they see your post as a punch in the face. Yes, I know you were trying to make a point, look at page 3 I even stated what your point was, but you must see the other side also. Do to the lack of knowledge of where your point of view was (your orginal post did not explain where it was), it was taken out of context. I think that if you were to use any other thing, for example how the Japenese supported their troops during WWII, it could have been different. Because it was the anniversary of Pearl Habor, it probally would not have been. (Again, I know that it was the 8th were you were, but being in an international society you have account for that.)
Did we job to concolusions? Yes most of us did. Should you have done a better job at explaining were you were coming from? I personally think you should have.
Also, if you notice that most of the threads that are to honor US soliders have some type of background to them, ie Today is the 65th anniversary of Pearl Habor so lets honor US troops. Your did not have this.
