I think the ati wins? but not sure.

Also how well would the ATI run bf2 on medium settings with 1.5 gig ram and amd athlon 3200

Pretty sure the 9600 PRO is better. Should run BF2 on medium around 40 FPS. Try lowering less important settings if not.

CPU: AMD Athlon™ 64 3800+ (2400 MHz)
Mainboard: K9N SLI-2F (nForce 570 SLI)
RAM: 2x 512 MB G.E.I.L DDR2
Graphiccard: 2x 7600GT 256 MB
And somesort of PSU

Total cost: € 545.00 .-

My share: €263.00 .-
The rest: My parents w00t

If you dont turn AA on you can play med with light on low and shadows off with the ATI card...
Are you going to buy one of these? Have you looked at the ati x850pro vivo? You can flash the bios and open up the pixel piplelines to 16 and get 590/610 speeds on oc.

Ok, who has the link for the Vid card comparison chart. The one where you select two different ones from a drop menu. I think it was at Toms Hardware but I can't find it. Karma for the first one who does.. It's driving me mad.

7600's should run bf2 on all medium rather well, and possibly get a few settings into high while maintaining a reasonable fps (something like 50+ on my buddies system, though that is with an AMD 4200+, 2GB 800mhz and a 7600GT).

Would be suprised to see you having any issues with medium settings unless the rest of your machine is older than me!

If you can afford USD$120, you can get yourself an X800 Pro. They actually perform better than the X1600's.
