I am Canadian and what makes me proud to be from Canada is that a peacefull country. Some will say we are sending troops in Iraq, we did World War I & II. But if you look in our history, these are our only wars we fought . Before theses wars, we battled with muskets, so that give you an idea how often we fight in a war.

And we make freaking good beers too! And I dont talk about Labatt Blue of Molson!

And you, what makes you proud to be from your country?

Iceland was probably the first democratic country in the world (We started in year 900 or something)

Not sure though, we did have the first female president in the world though.

Actually Canada was also in the Korean war and the Boer war. Although one could argue the Boer and WWI because Canada was ordered into battle as a colony. But not a bad point.

Although for me in Canada I kinda like the idea of completely free health-care...I couldn't imagine how some people have to pay for treatment...or even insurance, I know my auto-insurance is run by a bunch of crooks, I can't imagine health insurance run by the same people.

Have you ever been in Down Town Chicago, IL in early Summer. God I love summer dresses. Our Pizza is pretty damn good too.

We do try to help a lot of countries out. It is the though that counts right?

Our country's economy alone supports other countrys' economies. Many countries Rely on us to purchase their exports.

Im proud to be born in Serbia because we stand up for what we beleive and dont just let crap happen to us. While it may be good or bad we fought against the Austro Hungarian rule in the early 1900's which in the end started WW1 when Gavrillo Princip assasinated the Austo Hungarian Prince then Serbia refused to give up Gavrillo and thats how WW1 started. Britain and France joined in to help and all hell broke loose. But at least it was started in the attempt to free liberate ourselves and thats what we did do. Heck i can feel someones going to flame me/my country in some way but im ready for it. (Gavrillo shot the Austro Hungarian Prince in Bosnia but him and the people that planned the assasination were Serbian.) Also for being born in the same country as the man who invented electricity (Nikola Tesla)

Good point. Without America's rampant drug problem, countries like Colombia and Afghanistan would be unable to maintain their economies.

And with all the crap that is imported from China, soon China will own the great USA. Nice...

Yeah your country is so great, your best option after leaving school is to go and die in some other country where you're trying to exploit oil reserves. Why not just pump gas...without gas station attendants, the soldiers would really be dieing for nothing.

What makes be proud of being Danish is that we have an awesome democracy, and free health care, good school system. Great food. And some of the best scientists in the world. Also some of the best researchers.
We are just so smart. Like HC ørsted who discovered elektronmagnetism, and Niels Bohr who was on project Manhattan and discovered something about atoms, also his son. I think they are all nobel winners.

i wake up everyday grateful that i live in a country that offers everyone so many chances. you can be a shitbum or you can be the ceo of an entire company all based on what YOU want. unlike what the canadian said i didnt have to fight after i was done with high school. no i went and worked crap jobs until i had enough motivation to start my own company, then got married and am in the process of starting a family.
